NEW DEALS

 

Occasionally, things happen during the course of construction that cause an order to be cancelled. “New Deals” are NEW vessels that are offered at a very special price because the deal fell through for some reason.

When trouble appears with financing or some other unfortunate circumstance, the boat yard immediately ceases construction, puts a cover on the partially completed vessel and stores it for a while to see if things can be worked out and the construction can be resumed. If the deal falls through completely, the vessel is now just taking up space in the yard and the builder wishes to move these vessels as quickly as possible in order to recoup some of his losses.

There are several points to keep in mind when considering any of the vessels listed as a HOT DEAL: These are NEW vessels.

Sometimes, the partially completed vessel may have been sitting in the yard for a year or more, but they have never seen the water and will be finished as new once construction can re-commence.

A vessel will be completed by the yard for the price listed. These vessels are in various stages of completion, so certain design options will already be in place.

This will limit what you can and cannot have done to the vessel during the remainder of construction.

Most yards are flexible, and serious changes can be made, however if it requires ripping out old and rebuilding what is already in place, the price may go up from the one originally quoted.

Time to completion will vary by individual vessel, depending on its current stage of construction and any additional options you may wish to put in place.

Financing options will vary and must be considered on a case-by-case basis. These are “one-shot” deals... when they are gone, they are gone.
